What Makes Me Laugh is written and edited by Janelle Holden, a blogger based in Livingston, Montana.

Janelle is interested in exploring her family’s favorite phrase, “You can either laugh or cry” when it comes to all of life’s deepest questions.  She is married to Doug, a frequent character in her blog, and is proudly owned by two Maine Coon cats — Peaches and Cocoa. They have trained her to be an excellent cat slave.

When it comes to her professional past, Janelle has been an annoyed reporter, a political hack, a non-profit gadfly, and now a gainfully-employed advocate. She is liberal in her politics and conservative in her past. She considers herself to be a feminist, but always does the dishes. She believes that life is considerably grayer than black or white, and that God does not exist in organized religion.

Her hope for this blog is that she will make you laugh, shift a few paradigms, and not make any really embarrassing grammatical errors. It’s hard for an English major to admit a grammatical mistake.
