Bunt! WTF?!!! From time to time, we pick up our local paper just to check the police blotter. Bicycles and a car stereo stolen. It could double as the comics. Actually, the local politics could too.
The blotter is pretty hilarious in our paper too. I should reprint some of those for the blog. Janelle

I’ve been doing the crossword lately. Crossword clues are their own special language, but your crossword clues are very special indeed. Very funny. I’m guessing it’s a bunt — a combination of bison and runt. How did the dinner turn out? I’m still dreaming of those pumpkin muffins.
My father guessed the right clue. It’s “calf” who woulda thunk it? Janelle

Someone in Valier has a sense of humor. Dwarf buffalo? Maybe ask your Dad. If he doesn’t know it probably means the crossword guy is from Choteau.

Janelle! I LOVE your blog! thanks so much for posting. Died laughing about the cats v dogs at the vet, and the Valier and Livingston stories (of course). Keep it up Aren't you glad that we turned out to be fairly well adjusted adults, after growing up in rural Montana? I am. It was questionable (for me) for awhile
