Hehehe. It's very true. For me, I usually remember the special place, but it's often a backpack pocket (or purse full of stuff, etc.) So I look for the lost item in the specific pocket and don't find it, freak out, search every room of my house, re-search house and look outside in the backyard and in the car because you just never know, after an hour almost give up, then decide to check that specific pocket one more time in case I missed it...and then I almost always find it in there. :)

Oh yes, I've done that too. Usually it's in my pocket - of the pants I'm wearing! Janelle

Plantjan! That was put in automatically, but I've fixed it. Hope that solves the technical problems. Thanks for the heads up.

I got up in the middle of the night and realized I was walking around the house in my sunglasses, so that's another issue.

If it's any consolation, whenever I lose my keys, nine times out of ten, they're in my purse. Mind you I've already looked through my purse, but my husband can always find them in there (unless he's doing a slight of hand move to make me look bad).

When I lose my keys at school, even my students roll their eyes and say, "Have you checked your purse?"

I give you an A for originality.

Isn't it funny how someone else can find the thing you're looking for? It happens all the time with me and Doug. I think we're both afraid that, left alone, we'd never find our glasses in time to find the keys and the wallet. Janelle
