Warning: Cousins can be dangerous

18 Feb

Even if I wasn’t a Yankee-hater I would find the Alex Rodriguez drug scandal funny. Are you really “young and stupid” at ages 18-25, or are you just “willing to do anything to hit a few more home-runs and sign a juicier contract”? I guess even when you’ve hit adulthood you can claim youth as a legitimate excuse for advancing your career by illegal means.

The other thing that makes me scratch my head is the, ”Mycousin started injecting me with something and I didn’t know what it was” act.

As my friend Gail asked me, “If YOUR cousin came up to you and wanted to inject YOU with some unknown substance, would you say, ‘Sure, go ahead’?

Probably not, but then again, I’m not “young and stupid.”

this is funny. and so true. i mean really?! how many excuses can someone make in front of the media to make it sound ‘ok’. we all know it happens in the major leagues. how about if someone get caught again they come out and say ‘man i screwed up and got caught’ hey wow some honesty. money makes you do some crazy things, so does the need for affection and love, and the need to perform. So if you make an assanine decision, I want to hear you admit and take blame. Cause after all, your cousin told you exactly what it was.
